CloseContest takes an OPEN contest to COMPLETE ahead of its schedule, the transition the console labels "Stop", and rewrites the end time to now so later submissions no longer count towards the official score. Results remain editable afterwards — rejudging, penalties and disqualifications are all still possible until the contest is finalized — and participants may keep solving if upsolving is allowed.
