ListActivities returns a page of the long-running background jobs of one contest — problem retests, scoreboard rebuilds, plagiarism analysis — with the progress each made and the error which stopped it. This is how the completion of an asynchronous operation such as AnalyzeContest is observed, since those calls return as soon as the job is scheduled.
